Be My Valentine …

Take this black rose,
It’s bleeding,
It bleeds blood of hope,
It’s seeping.

Mend my broken heart,
It’s shattered,
Its pain is sharp like silver darts,
And it scatters.

Fix my cracked smile,
It’s ruined,
Fix it so I don’t cry,
My sorrows blew it.

I need your tender embrace
I’m freezing,
Give me your love and grace
I’m pleading.

Tainted

Tears linger in her eyes,
Words spoken by her heart,
Words no pen could ever write.

She fell in love deeply,
She fell too hard,
Now she suffers hurt sternly.

Her pillow’s wet,
She’s broken apart,
Bleeding is her heart’s tare.

“I never knew forever was so short,
I never thought we’d ever part,”
She sings a gloomy song.

She tries to cry herself to sleep;
She sits to cut,
She sinks the blade too deep.

Her sorrow fades with her life,
Her tears flood her blood,
Her heart beats for the last time.
